Career & College Promise affords students the option to pursue dual enrollment classes at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) and choose from the following pathways:
College Transfer - Designed for students planning to continue their educational career beyond high school to eventually achieve an Associate's or Bachelor's degree at a community college or university.
Career & Technical Education - Allows students to begin a certification or diploma program in a particular technical field or career area.
Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the CPCC Career and College Promise (CCP) program applicants must:
Be a rising Junior or Senior and on track for graduation
Hold a minimum 2.8 unweighted GPA (Required for College Transfer Pathway and most Career & Technical Pathways) OR
Demonstrate college readiness by achieving the required scores on a single test or by combining test scores in the areas of English, Reading and Mathematics from the PSAT, SAT, Pre-ACT or ACT.
