8th Grade Registration

JMR 8th-grade Elective Sneak Peek Video.  Chorus and Journalism are not included in the video.  Read the Elective Course Descriptions for information on these electives.  Computer Science for Innovators and App Creators have change their names to CS Discoveries I & II on the registration card.  All electives in the video are not available for both grades.  Use your course card to determine which are available in 7th Grade. The only electives in which we guarantee placement is band and orchestra. We do however guarantee that your child will be placed in their appropriate math level. All students will be placed in an English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. North Carolina requires that all students take Physical Education each year of middle school.
