Graduate Information

Orders for caps and gowns should be placed by Dec. 20

All graduates will wear a gown, cap, and tassel.   Graduates DO NOT have to order a package with other items. The gown is green with gold trim and the Independence logo on the lapel.

Due to supply chain issues graduation attire should be ordered NOW.

Order at www.hjcharlotte.com.  To find the cap, gown, and tassel:

• click "Shop graduation products"

• click "Grad gear and apparel"

• scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see "Unit--custom cap, gown, and tassel."

Caps and gowns will be delivered to the school for pickup.  Graduates will be notified when to pick up their items.

Graduates may only wear honor cords and stoles associated with a school-based honor society or club.  

Honor cords and stoles will be distributed through the school honor society or club that awards them. 

Graduates may NOT wear stoles of their own design or regalia that represents non-school clubs, activities, or organizations. 

Graduates may NOT decorate their cap (CMS policy)
