ACT
Feb 23rd - CMS Initial Testing date
This test is required for all juniors! Similar to EOC/CTE exams, this will be taken online. All students, including those students enrolled in the full remote academy will be required to come on campus to take the ACT.
High Schools: ACT Testing Exception Process
Students scheduled to take the ACT as part of the statewide administration may apply for a test exception if they took the SAT or ACT prior to February 5, 2021 and earned scores that meet college readiness standards. Students who qualify for this exception are not expected to participate in the test administration. However, it is the student's responsibility to notify the school that they do not wish to participate in the test administration and provide the appropriate score reports. The attached document outlines the process in Spring21 ACT exemption form
Student Requests should be submitted no later than February 5, 2021.
Student scores will be available on your www.MyACT.org account 4-6 weeks after testing.
IF YOU ENCOUNTERED ISSUES WITH YOUR MyACT ACCOUNT--EITHER CREATING ONE OR LOGGING INTO YOUR ACCOUNT and WITH YOUR ACT ID PLEASE READ BELOW.....
ACT Spring 2021 State Testing
Since MyACT is a new online process, we realize access challenges may have caused some students to miss the deadline for completing this process, which includes selecting up to four colleges to send their test scores. Therefore, ACT is providing an additional opportunity for students to do so in the form of a voucher code that can be used in MyACT.
Voucher Code Eligibility Requirements and Guidelines
A voucher code is being provided to students participating in State-sponsored testing who have not selected at least one college for automated score reporting. Students who entered at least one college for score reporting are not eligible for a voucher code. The code will be printed in the top righthand corner on page 1 of the student’s paper score report and is redeemable for the one-time purchase of up to four additional score reports at no cost. Additional college choices may be included for a fee for which the student is responsible. All voucher codes will expire, so students should be encouraged to use the code within two weeks of receiving their paper score report.
Student Use of Voucher Code in MyACT
Students meeting the voucher code eligibility requirements above must wait until they receive their paper score report to obtain their voucher code and use it in MyACT. For the February 23 test window, students will begin receiving their printed score reports at their home address the week of March 15.
Students who created a MyACT account prior to their test being scored will receive an email from myact@act.org when their scores are posted to their account. They should wait for their paper score report and then follow the instructions outlined on it to redeem their voucher code within MyACT.
Students who have not yet created a MyACT account will need their paper score report containing their ACT ID to create their account. Once they receive their paper score report by mail, these students should go to MyACT.org and follow the prompts. For an outline of these steps, refer to the MyACT Quick Start Guide, "Student has ACT scores, but doesn't yet have an account," page 4. Please note: The Non-Test Instructions for Student form is no longer relevant for students after their MyACT deadline has passed.
If students need assistance related to their paper score reports, finding their scores online, or creating or accessing their MyACT account, please direct them to the Contact Us link on MyACT.org.
Please contact us if you have questions.
