In order to receive accommodations on a National ACT or College Board Exam (PSAT, SAT, AP) the student must have approval granted by the appropriate testing organization. Having an IEP or 504 Plan does not automatically qualify a student for accommodations on any of these national exams. The steps for requesting accommodations are listed below. Be aware that it can take up to 7 weeks to receive a decision about accommodations and there is a deadline for requesting them.
