This course is the first of 2 specific skills courses in the Law and Justice "Shred." Students that choose to pursue this area of study in their junior year will start amassing college credits in the area of Criminal Justice studies. During this year of instruction, students will study topics and acquire practical skills in the areas of: Criminal and Constitutional law, Use of Force (UOF), Procedures of Arrest, Traffic and Patrol Operations, Crime Scene Investigation, Agency Administration, and Critical Issues in Sentencing and Corrections. Students will benefit by studying NC BLET (Basic Law Enforcement Training) curriculum in some areas which will better prepare them for a future career in Law Enforcement.
