Rising 9th Grade Registration Information Night - Presentation Slides
Wednesday, January 7th 2026, 6:00pm, AK Gym
All rising 9th graders will select high school courses for the 2026-2027 school year using the registration card and information found on this registration website. Middle school counselors will provide directions to students about card completions.
Completed registration cards should be returned to your middle school counselor per their instructions.
AKHS Counselors will visit Rea Farms and Community House MS between January 14 and January 22, 2026
*A special registration session for students at MRSA/TELRA/Horizons will be held on Tuesday, February 17th at 10:00am in the AK Media Center. If you attend one of these schools, please reach out to kristilynw.ramos@cms.k12.nc.us in advance*
These courses count towards the new Computer Science graduation requirement (not all available to Rising 9th grade):
