Collaborate with colleagues, including teachers of same classes, department members, and learning support and technology specialists to design distance learning experiences for students.
Design engaging lessons and assessments to meet course learning goals
Communicate frequently with students and, as needed, with their parents.
Provide timely feedback to support students’ learning.
Meet division-specific expectations.
Record attendance.
Communicate regularly with the subject or classroom teachers who teach the students on your caseload to assist with scaffolding or modification for your students.
Communicate regularly with students on your caseload and/or their parents to ensure they have success with distance learning.
Provide supplementary learning activities for students on your caseload who may benefit from additional practice to close academic and curricular gaps.
Monitor the progress of students on your caseload and provide timely feedback.
**OLC only: OLC Specialists will contact the parents of students on their caseload.
Provide guidance and support for students to aid in monitoring and supporting student wellbeing
Gather data on student well being.
Use Google Meet to conduct check-ins with students (MS/HS).
Serve as a liaison for communication with students/families with concerns.
