THE EVENT

Product design is the process of identifying a market opportunity, clearly defining the problem, developing a proper solution for that problem and validating the solution with real users. When it comes to building great consumer products, design is the most important feature. Technical expertise is very important while designing most of the consumer products. This event was organized in order to make students understand the product design concept and implement it.

Students were told to choose the product of their interest and design the same using CAD software or with the help of manual drawings. This event was open to students from all the branches and the event was organized by the department of Mechanical Engineering on 25/09/2018. There were around 20 participants from various branches. Student coordinators from SME club organized this event and helped the department to complete the event successfully.
