This Guest Lecture was delivered by Hon'ble Justice Basavaraj Andanagouda Patil, Former Judge, High Court of Karnataka on 7th May, 2025. It was held in the AV Hall in the OMBR Campus and was attended by students of X Semester B.A.,LL.B.(Hons), B.B.A.,LL.B.(Hons), B.Com.,LL.B.(Hons) and VI Semester LL.B. Sir spoke about how the field of legal services has evolved and how it is needed in order to have a legal system driven by equal opportunity that will render justice based on fairness. he spoke about how alternate dispute resolution methods are needed to lessen the burden on the courts and encouraged the legal professionals to find ways to make its execution effective.
