G20 New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration

New Delhi Declaration was adopted at the G20 Summit organised in India on 9th-10th September 2023 under the theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. The Declaration achieved unanimous consensus, addressing diverse global issues, from Russia-Ukraine tensions to sustainable development, food security, and launching the Global Biofuel Alliance.

Paris Agreement,2015  

The Paris Agreement was adopted by 196 Parties at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP21) in Paris, France, on 12 December 2015. It entered into force on 4 November 2016. Its overarching goal is to hold “the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels” and pursue efforts “to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.”

It is a legal agreement that minimizes international trade barriers by eliminating or reducing quotas, tariffs and subsidies while retaining important regulations. The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade aims to promote economic recovery after World War II by rebuilding and liberalizing world trade.
