The CMR University Center for Environmental Studies: Law & Policy (herein after called as Environmental Law Center) has established an Environmental Center which shall be the student committee entrusted with the responsibility of administering Environmental Law activities. The Center is particularly oriented towards the study of the environmental laws existing both nationally and internationally. The Center looks forward to extensive collaborations with institutions, both professional and academic institutions, engaged in this new field. The Center provides opportunity to its students to indulge in various activities of Environmental Law Center which not only helps build the academics but also provides opportunities to help develop their personality and self-confidence. It enhances knowledge in better understanding of the environment and the environment issues. Legal Education is a major transformation right now in India. There is increase in the number of issues in the field of environmental law both nationally and internationally. The center helps in positive learning and provides a better understanding the issues in the field of environmental law and to reach to solutions to the problems.
