The CMR University, Center for Environmental Studies: Law & Policy was established in the year 2021 with the vision of creating legal awareness and imparting knowledge on the subject of environmental law. The Center focuses on imparting knowledge in the field of environmental law. 

The Center for Environmental Studies: Law & Policy, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) T.R. Subramanya (Dean, CMR University, School Of Legal Studies) and Dr. Gayathri N.M. (Faculty Coordinator), is focused to work in the field of environmental law and policy matters.
