CMPS supports advancement of wildlife management and supports TWS members by offering grants and recognizing outstanding achievements.
The Central Mountains and Plains Section (CMPS) of The Wildlife Society (TWS) supports individuals to become certified to better uphold the standards of the wildlife profession. CMPS is excited to offer a Certification Program Grant to help defer the cost of certification, with applications accepted on a rolling basis.
Wayne Sandfort Student Travel Grants of up to $500 for individuals are available. Additional funding may be offered to groups, depending on demonstrated need. Applications are generally due in September.
CMPS is proud to honor professionals, citizens, and executive groups for their conservation achievements. Additionally, CMPS selects nominees for TWS awards. Please visit the CMPS Awards page for more information. Nominations for CMPS awards are generally due in January. Deadlines for TWS Awards vary.
