The Central Mountains and Plains Section shall promote principles, policies, and objectives of The Wildlife Society as stated in the Society’s bylaws:
To encourage proper management of all wildlife in the geographical area of the Central Mountains and Plains Section, the ecosystems in which they live, and the other natural resources of the region in a manner that reflects sound biological principles and benefits to wildlife and humans.
To create and maintain an organization that promotes professional association solidarity and exchange of ideas among persons interested in the general field of wildlife management.
To support the objectives of The Wildlife Society and its Code of Ethics.
This historical review is dedicated to those members who have given so unselfishly of their time and often their money to maintain, improve, and expand the Central Mountains and Plains Section of The Wildlife Society, for upholding the principles and objectives of the Society, and for their dedication to this region’s wildlife resources.
