CMPS is governed by an Executive Board, elected by CMPS membership, including Representatives from each of the 7 State Chapters within the Section. All Board members serve in a voluntary capacity. The CMPS Executive Board represents the Section’s mission and in this capacity, do not represent their employers.
Included amongst the CMPS Leadership are Committees, which includes CMPS members that are not part of the Executive Board, are critical to meeting the organization’s mission and the needs of TWS members in the 7-state region.

The Central Mountains & Plains Section (CMPS) is a strong and effective voice of wildlife science, conservation, and management for the seven states of Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.
