I’m Joenard Perez but many people just call me Joe. I was born in Manila, Philippines and stayed there till I was three years old. I moved to the United States in 2007 and I’ve been here ever since. Coming from a Filipino background there were high expectations for me and my brothers to grow up and provide for our family here and back home. I’ve been at CMIT South since the Berkshire days In 2014. Growing up I wasn’t sure on what I wanted to do, career wise. But once I hit high school, I gained this interest for photos. I started off doing graphic designs in photoshop. Then when I got a hold of a camera, my interest for photography and soon to be interest for videography increased. I’ve been the go to photographer for CMIT South HS for a year and a half now. This is my chosen career and I hope this path will take me further than I can imagine.
