At NPMS, we have an MFLAC counselor, Mrs. Paula Fowler is here to assist students that are military affiliated while in school to help with their transition to New Providence.
If you feel your child could benefit from small group counseling with other peers that are military affiliated. Please print off the interest form that is attached and have your child return it to either their homeroom teacher or grade level counselor. This service is free.

Youth Sponsorship (Student to Student)
Our school uses a youth sponsorship program to help all new students adjust to New Providence Middle School. This program is designed to help military children but we use it for all new students too. The students are assigned an ambassador (another student that is in their grade) to give them a tour around the school. These students are matched up based on interests, military-family, and/or scheduled to the same team.
Purple Up Day!
Wear purple to show support for military. This happens in April every year. The specific date is TBD.
