School Counseling Vision Statement
All students at New Providence Middle School graduate ready for post-secondary opportunities, while learning what it means to be successful in a changing and diverse world. They demonstrate their success through resilience, by embracing differences and being empathetic adults. They continue to evolve and live a life of integrity, and commitment, to their family, careers, and communities. The students acquire a growth mindset and cultivate the world’s next generation of leaders.
School Counseling Mission Statement
The comprehensive school counseling program at New Providence Middle School is data-driven and used to advocate for equity, inclusiveness, and academic excellence among all students, through individual and small-group counseling as well as school-wide counseling lessons. In collaboration with the stakeholders, the school counselors help eliminate barriers, model empathy and provide access for students through data-informed interventions. These interventions provide the necessary skills to be successful in all post-secondary opportunities.
