Digital Resources Funded by the School District
There are numerous databases and other web-based resources paid for by our school district. These subscriptions are renewed annually and librarians give input on usage and effectiveness with patrons. Most resources can be accessed by students through Class Link with no additional login required. Links are also on the CMCSS Technology Integration site.

Discovery Education
Discovery Education is curated by subject matter experts into content collections by grade and topic, resources include interactive activities, reading passages, audio clips, skill builders, and writing prompts that engage students and extend critical thinking. Students access through their Classlink page.
A constantly updated supply of nonfiction and fiction articles that often supply comprehension questions and vocabulary skills practice.
Database of and index to 5000+ full text, audio and video versions of public speeches, sermons, legal proceedings, lectures, debates, interviews, other recorded media events, and a declaration or two.
Goodreads is the world’s largest site for readers and book recommendations.
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.
ABCya provides over 400 fun and educational games for grades PreK through 6 that are categorized by subject and grade level.
Google Earth is a computer program that renders a 3D representation of Earth based primarily on satellite imagery.
A collection of math games for students from 1st to 6th grade to practice math topics from problem solving to basic math facts.
A brain-training site, for everyone, where logic & thinking meet fun & games.
Canva is a graphic design platform used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents and other visual content. The app includes a wide array of templates clipart for posters, presentations, animated GIFs
