Learning at Home – A Guide for Parents
If you are unable to work through Google Classrooms please email vle@clywedog.org
Schools are grateful to you for supporting your child’s learning, off-line or on-line, at this difficult time. During summer term they will set work for your child to do, maintain contact and provide help along the way. Any encouragement and support you offer will be very helpful, but you are not being asked to be a teacher.
We hope the information below will explain more about how Google Classroom, will help your child learn.
Stay safe, stay learning.
Google Classroom is a website (or virtual learning environment) that helps teachers teach and students learn. It has lots of free apps and software, virtual classrooms, and a massive bank of materials for use in the classroom or online with pupils. It can also be used to share schools’ work.
Teachers can set up virtual classrooms to set questions and see all the answers. They can use Google Classroom tools and resources to make lessons and set work.
It’s on the web, so using almost any computer or tablet. Your child can visit classroom.google.com. The school has provided a username and password to log into Google Classroom, and instructions on where they will be setting work.
All the codes for the different classes in Google Classroom are here.
