□ Take the ACT, SAT, through December 2026 for some out of state and private colleges, as well as scholarship opportunities. (SCHOOL CODE 050628) Research college testing requirements for universities/colleges of interest.
□ Update your resume. You will need it for scholarship applications.
□ When requesting a letter of recommendation, include a resume and the letter of recommendation request form found on the CNEC website under the Counseling tab, College Resources tab, Letter of Recommendation Request link. Give at least 4 weeks for letter to be completed.
□ Contact NCAA representative, Mrs. Raeber, if you are interested in Division I or Division II college athletics. The Clearinghouse website is www.eligibilitycenter.org
□ FAFSA Workshop – TBD Students are encouraged to create an account prior to attending the workshop. Apply at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
□ Scholarship Portfolio due to Counseling Center by December 11, 2026 Check the CNEC Website and Career Center for updates.
□ Check FASTweb, Collegeboard, CNEC website, and National Scholarship websites for scholarship opportunities. Bronco scholarship bulletin will be available on the School and District webpage beginning September 2026.
