Our pathway is designed to provide students with a competitive advantage by ensuring they graduate with industry-recognized training that aligns with state and national standards. Through this program, students earn industry certifications and hands-on training that strengthen their qualifications and give them an edge when applying to a Fire Academy or pursuing employment with a fire agency.
Our Students earn Industry Training / Certifications that will help them get an edge to get in with a Fire Academy / or Fire Agency Job
Upon successful completion of this course:
1. CPR /AED / First Aid – American Heart Association
2. Certificate of Completion, CUSD/ROP, with a “C” grade or better
NWCG (National Wildland Coordinating Group)
3. L-180 Human Factors in Wildland Fire Service
4. S-190 Introduction to Wildland Behavior
5. S-130 Firefighter training
FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency)
6. IS-100 – Intro. to the Incident Command System
7. IS-200 – Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response
8. IS-700 – Intro to National Incident Management System (NIMS)
9. IS-800 – National Response Framework
10. Haz-Mat First Responder Operations (NFPA 1072)
11. Dual Enrollment with FCC (College Credit)
