Ag Fairs 24-25
Clovis East Agriculture Fair Information
The Clovis East Agriculture Fair will feature educational booths, demonstrations, and hands on activities for Kindergarten and First Grade Students. The demonstrations and lessons will be taught and presented by our Clovis Unified Agriculture Students, and Agriculture Staff. The format will be large group rotations. This means a large school group of around 100 kids will begin their tour in a certain “area” for 15-20 minutes and will be allowed to explore all the booths and activities in that particular area before moving to the next area. We have six areas each with a specific focus, which will include: Animals, Ag Mechanics, Plants, Horticulture, and other fun Ag tivities.
We can accommodate 6 groups of 120 or less per farm tour date. Detailed information will be provided to our registered schools 2 weeks prior to the Agriculture Fair Date. The fee for the Fair is $3 per student (parents and teachers are free) payable to Clovis USD; invoices will be emailed to registered schools.
Ag Fair Sign Up Process
Sign up requests open on May 15th 2024 at 8am. We use a google form and you can submit your request for a Ag Fair Date. Keep in mind filling out the form is a "request" and does not confirm your Ag Fair Date. This is a competitive first come first serve process and the timestamps on the form submissions will be used as we fill tour dates. You will be contacted via email to confirm your space prior to the end of the 2024 School Year. Please do not request multiple dates for the same school or grade level, if your first request is filled you will be contacted to see if you would like another date if they are available.
