The Agricultural scholarship is a four-year $25,000 university scholarship, available to students 

residing in the Coachella or San Joaquin valleys who are interested in the California table grape 

industry. Scholarships are available to seniors graduating in 2026 or to high school graduates, 

including family members of table grape growers. Three scholarships are available.

Successful applicants will major in a field of study applicable to table grapes. Examples include 

plant science, plant pathology, entomology, soil science, horticulture and crop science, 

sustainable agriculture and food systems, agricultural systems management. agricultural business, 

agricultural education, agricultural communications and marketing, agricultural policy, and food 

and nutritional sciences.

Applicants must enroll full time in a California university with a fall 2026 enrollment date and a 

declared major tied to a future in the California table grape industry. Preference will be given to

those with interest in building a career in the California table grape industry.
