My Plan Presentation

Being career ready means that before you leave high school, you have:

• identified your interests, values, skills, and personality traits and these have informed your next steps.
• expanded your knowledge of future possibilities through research, talking with people, visiting work sites and post secondary campuses, taking a community-based learning course, or working/volunteering in your community.
• identified your skills and can provide evidence of these skills.
• the requirements, action plan, and financial plan to support your next step. You also know how to expand or create additional opportunities as you learn more about yourself and what may be possible throughout your journey.
• identified a support network and know how to nurture your relationships so you can count on your supporters in your network when you need them.
