Working on: Letter sounds and associated actions, making letters.
Play games together by finding these letters in books or around the house, tracing the letters in sand or rice, or building the letters using play doh, Lego, popsicle sticks.
So far this school year we have worked on letters:
Aa, Ee, Ii, Oo, Uu, Bb and Cc However, feel free to practice the others as well.
We have learned what they look like and what they sound like, working with both upper and lower case letters.
I have attached a copy of our Jolly Phonic working sheets so your child can tell you the actions of each letter.
