Madame Robyn

Welcome to 1H!

A little about me....I am originally from Vancouver Island but grew up on PEI! I completed my bachelor of Arts at UPEI and my B.Ed. at Vancouver Island University. I have travelled extensively but now reside in Clyde River with my husband, two step children and our newest baby boy!

I have taught at Westwood for 10 years and this is my 8th year teaching grade 1. I have a true passion for teaching and finding ways to make nature our classroom! As a class we will spend a lot of time taking our learning outside!!

I try and communicate as much as possible with everyone. I send home weekly emails and updates as needed, monthly newsletters as well as random pictures/slide shows of our learning. Prior to Covid I invited parents in to our classroom regularly for learning celebrations (and I will keep my fingers crossed I may be able to do the same at some point this year.
