Damage & Protection
Students are responsible for the care and safety of their assigned device. We do realize that accidents can happen. Students are encouraged to choose a protection solution that fits their needs such as a padded sleeve, laptop bag or case, or Chromebook "shells."
The district will offer an annual damage protection fee to help guard against additional costs in the case of accidental damage. The fee will provide coverage for up to two (2) repairs each year without any other accountability. You can agree to pay the fee at the time of registering for your Chromebook at the start of the school year through FamilyID. To report any damage or issues related to your Chromebook, please submit a helpdesk ticket using the instructions below, or notify your teacher.
