Pacing Guides and STAAR TESTING

The students will have the STAAR exam for 2020-2021. All elementary school students will test in April and May. The STAAR test will require students to have learned all of the content that is on the assessment blueprints so teachers must be following ITRS pacing, YAGS, TRS, and directly instructing students. Teachers will need to plan their lessons with the district pacing tools so that they ensure all required curriculum is met. Teachers should utilize the professional development days to create lesson plans for the first nine weeks of school.
