The goal of the AP Environmental Science course is to provide students with the scientific principles, concepts and methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world, to identify and analyze environmental problems both natural and human-made, to evaluate the relative risks associated with these problems and to examine alternative solutions for resolving and/or preventing them. *Satisfies the Earth and Environmental Science graduation requirement.
AP Biology

Prerequisite : A/B in Honors Biology and A/B in Honors Chemistry
AP Biology is an opportunity for high school students to engage in college-level biology content and lab work. It aims to provide students with the conceptual framework, factual knowledge, and analytical skills necessary to deal critically with the rapidly changing science of biology.
Advanced Placement exams will be administered at the end of the course and certain scores on the exam can earn college credit. ( Taught in 2024-2025 and 2026-2027)
Anatomy and Physiology Honors
HONORS Anatomy and Physiology 33305X0C

Prerequisite: A/B in Biology
An in-depth study of the structure and function of the human body. Recommended for students who are planning to declare pre-medicine, pre-veterinary medicine, or graduate nursing. Anatomy students are expected to work independently on a variety of assignments and accept greater responsibility for their learning. Students are expected and carry out independent investigations in anatomical sciences, report on recent research, and demonstrate in depth conceptual knowledge of anatomical objectives.
