Assistance During COVID-19

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) activated a statewide public hotline for citizens or providers needing guidance regarding the COVID-19. The hotline is 877.435.8411. The hotline is operated by medical professionals and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  

COVID- 19 tests are available at no cost at health centers and select pharmacies, including CVS and Walgreens.

This location offers primary care medical services in a free clinic setting, health screenings for the community, support groups for mental health, and a youth leadership group. Appointments vary depending on staffing but no insurance is required.

Comprehensive health care is provided regardless of one’s health insurance status. Family Care accepts private, Medicaid and Medicare insurance plans. Staff provides interpretation services for Hispanic, Bosnian, Vietnamese, and Somali patients and uses outside resources for patients speaking other languages.

Health and Dental Care For Kids provides  primary, dental, and urgent care for patients from 0 to 18 years of age.They accept Missouri Medicaid plans, as well as most forms of commercial insurance. For those patients without medical insurance, they offer a deeply discounted fee schedule that allows families to pay a modest amount to cover medical services.

SLU Sight is a free vision service offered at the Health Resource Center. It relies on medical student, optometry student and ophthalmology resident volunteers. Our partnership with New Eyes allows us to provide prescription glasses free of charge for the community. We accept patients 18 years of age and older.
