A licensed emergency shelter for children ages birth to 18 years old who can receive care when their family is encountering a situation that could lead to loss of employment, loss of shelter or a child’s basic needs going unmet, in addition to any situation that could potentially lead to a child being abused or neglected. They offer crisis and respite care, case management, and mobile counseling.
Note that this is a state program through the Department of Social Services. If you know of any child that you know or believe to be currently abused or neglected, please report it at 800-392-3738. Collect as much information as possible before the call and answer the questions as thoroughly as possible.

Hotline for youth between the ages of 15 and 24 who are struggling with suicide, depression, sexual orientation, gender identity and other issues. Others who are interested in supporting LGBTQ youth, such as parents, teachers, counselors and friends are also encouraged to call.

Each family works with a team of trained professionals who help determine goals and develop safety plans for the family. DV-SART (domestic violence sexual assault response team) volutneers provide support, information and resources to rape and domestic violence viticimes in local hospital emergncey departments 24 hours a day, seven days a week, serving more than 400 people each year. Therapy, support groups, and case management services are free of charge for people age 14 and over.

Aging well provides geratric care management services to help organize an elderly loved one’s total care needs and connects them with applicable resources. The care manager will create a personalized plan that includes all medical, legal, and financial components necessary for the patient’s care. This is a good resource for family members who are overwhelmed by the responsibilities of being a caretaker.
