Clash of two empires

We learn about the main themes of the "Clash of two Empires" from different people's perspectives: Euro American men and women, African Americans, Mexican Americans, Original Americans, and Chinese.  We will explore what was it was like to have new people on the land that had originally been home to many diverse groups - and for those arriving as well as those already there.  It was a complicated time and themes continue to show from that time period today.
