Curious more about me? Usually my classroom is flooded with pictures of my family, friends, and my cat Milo! He will be featured heavily throughout our curriculum in fun games such as "Where Is Milo?"
One of the things I do with my spare time is volunteer for causes. One is called RESULTS and that organization fights to end poverty in our country and across the world. I've gotten to meet with the staff people that work for our federal members of Congress - both Senators and House of Representatives - and get published in the newspaper sharing my opinion about what I think Congress should do to help people. To the right are some pictures from my trips to Washington, D.C. to meet with both members of Congress and their staff.
Other fun tid-bits to know:
I love to create things. I have learned to make my own candles, hand soap, hand lotion, insect repellant, and even experimented with make-up. I also love to knit. Right now I'm working on knitting a lace pattern.
One of the best things I did this summer was to start back with my Adobe products. I'm an amateur at Photoshop, Adobe Character Animator, and Adobe After Effects. You will see tidbits of what I've learned this summer on Adobe After Effects and Character Animator with short animated videos.
I am always learning in some way. I spent a lot of time this summer thinking about ways to improve my craft and create engaging ways to learn Geography.
Below are a selection of pictures from my garden over the last few years during various seasons. I take so many pictures of my garden I couldn't possibly share all of them!
