Artists of the month

We will be honoring and introducing contemporary artists from students and staff's countries of connection or origin in art class or on the morning show. By honoring and learning about these artists, we as a school community will get to know our global connections a bit better. Currently we know of connections to the following countries:

Barbados, China, Cuba, Eritrea, India, Indonesia, Laos, Mexico, United States, and Vietnam

Artists will be honored during the month of their birth if it is publicly available and falls during the school year. Artists without a birthdate listed do not have one publicly available. I chose to share artists from multiple cultures in each month to allow for the possibility of interesting connections between artists.

Each month's artists slides will be updated as the year continues.
