Jonesboro High School’s Law and Justice Program students are engaged in a comprehensive pathway designed to prepare them for careers in criminal justice, public safety, and legal services. The program blends rigorous academic instruction with hands-on, real-world application through mock trials, crime scene investigations, ethical case studies, and scenario-based simulations. Instruction is aligned with CTAE standards and emphasizes professionalism, accountability, and critical thinking.
Students receive ongoing guidance from instructors and school counselors to ensure they remain on track for graduation while building a clear postsecondary plan. A strong emphasis is placed on industry credentials and successful completion of the End-of-Pathway Assessment (EOPA). Through focused skill development in investigative procedures, legal processes, report writing, teamwork, and communication, students graduate with both the knowledge and practical experience necessary to pursue higher education, military service, or immediate entry into the workforce with confidence and a competitive edge.
