Equipment used in the training program must be of the type and quality found to provide training to meet the program goals and performance objectives. The facilities must be appropriate for the variety of learning activities which occur in the LPS classrooms.

Clayton County Public School/ Jonesboro High School has emergency procedures/preparations visible and available to keep students and staff safe during emergency situations. Jonesboro High School ensures that this standard is met by:
Practicing Monthly Fire, tornadoes, and active shooting drills throughout the school year so staff and students can be familiar with evacuation plans
Staff wearing safety badges to immediately report emergencies by pressing the button.
Providing radio technology
Ensuring evacuation routes and plans are posted throughout the school building
Providing teachers with a copy of the Incident/Accident Report to keep accurate records of injuries, etc.
