Program Promotion and Outreach
At Charles Drew High School, CTAE emphasizes industry relevance, technology integration, and real-world application, guiding student recruitment and program promotion.
Student Selection: New students are chosen based on interest, aptitude, and career goals through informational sessions, surveys, and meetings with instructors to ensure the best program fit.
In-School Promotion: CTAE opportunities are highlighted through classroom and hallway exhibits, bulletin boards, posters, brochures, announcements, newsletters, and updates on the school website and social media.
External Marketing: Outreach includes career nights, open houses, pathway fairs, demonstrations at feeder schools and community events, and distribution of informational materials to local organizations.
Collaboration: CTAE works with administrators and counselors to promote programs, provide guidance during registration and planning, and ensure resources and communications highlight pathway opportunities.
These efforts ensure students are informed, supported, and prepared for employment, enlistment, enrollment, and entrepreneurship after graduation.
