Dear Science 10 Parents,

We are well into our Physics section with a unit exam about a month away. It was nice to connect with some of you at the Parent Conferences last week. For those unable to attend, here is a quick update. The Chapter 4 material is completed with a study of Work. The class finds itself working on two experiments in order to compare Uniform with Non-uniform motion. This will lead up to a quiz on Kinematics where we summarize terms like distance, displacement, speed, velocity, acceleration, scalar, and vector. Analyzing graphs and solving algebraic equations related to these measures will be involved. The quiz date is TBD, likely next week.
