Purpose & Mission

The LSB Dance Team aims to promote school spirit and Standing Bear pride through dance at various activities, such as pep rallies, varsity games, community events, and other LSB activities. The Legends always represent Standing Bear High School, both in and out of uniform. Each member's purpose is to commit strongly to their academics and the team. We also embrace incredible opportunities to dance with the best teams in the state and nation, allowing us to represent our school positively through various showcases and competitions.

The mission is to provide dancers with a meaningful and worthwhile experience to share their passion for dance with their school. The LSB dance team experience should promote technical growth, good sportsmanship, connections with others, and positive attitudes. Supportive relationships, teamwork, and trust are the cornerstones of this organization. The team's success is due to a strong commitment from the dancers, positive parental and school administration support, and dedicated coaches.
