Vocal Music 7: The vocal music curriculum teaches students to sing with expression and technical accuracy. Particular attention is given to ear training, rhythm, diction, and breath control. The repertoire includes pieces from various music genres, historical periods, and music associated with a variety of cultures and ethnicities. 

MSV 7.1 By the end of seventh grade, students will be able to match pitch in a comfortable register.

MSV 7.2 By the end of 7th grade, given a tonal center, students will be able to perform a melody utilizing notes from Do to So (1-5).

MSV 7.3 - By the end of 7th grade, students will be able to perform a accurate rhythms with a steady beat.
