What???
Students will learn playing skills on their instrument appropriate for the 7th/8th grade LPS pacing chart, as well as skills necessary to perform specific repertoire we perform. Students will work individually (in the form of practice at home) and in a large group setting (in rehearsal at school) to accomplish these playing goals throughout the year.
Why???
Why???
In orchestra, you get to express yourself through a variety of music. Your orchestra is a community. All the members of this community have AT LEAST one thing in common with you. Learning an instrument is a great way to improve HOW to accomplish goals that might take a lot of time and effort to reach.
