About the

North County Sustainability Day & Green Living Fair (SDGLF)

SDGLF is a project of the North Country Partnership for Environmental Action, Community, and Sustainability (NoCoPEACS).

NoCoPEACS was formed when the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley and Paul Smiths College teamed up with Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County, the Canton and Potsdam Climate Smart Communities Initiatives, the Local Living Venture, and the North Country 350 Alliance to organize a combined North County Sustainability Day & Green Living Fair.

This educational and expo event is always free and open to the public.  It aims to inspire and empower everyone to combat the global climate crisis by fostering a culture of sustainability across the North Country and beyond.

Climate, food, energy, justice and related topics are the focus of talks, workshops, demonstrations, posters, and exhibits highlighting ways to eat local, conserve energy, reduce bills, and be climate smart.
