- Adopted June 25, 1953, by the American Library Association Council
In addition to class appointments, individual students may visit the library at any time with a Library Pass from their teacher. Individual students may not come in groups larger than three. Starting this year, students may put books on hold in their Destiny Account and these books will be pulled and delivered to classrooms within 48 hours, assuming the title is in stock and the student has not reached their checkout limit.
Students will place books on the Check-in shelf for an adult to check in.
Students will check out their own books using their library card. An adult will be on-hand to assist our youngest members.
We ask that students return existing books before checking out new books. Books should be returned in the same condition in which they were checked out.
We do not charge late fees. However, we encourge students to return books frequently to ensure they have a consistent rotation of literature. Standard checkout time is two weeks.
If you lose or damage a book so that it can't be checked out anymore, we would love to receive a replacement copy or payment towards the replacement cost if families are able.
