Students learned about the art of Horace Pippen! They then created a drawing of themselves in front of a large canvas that was inspired by the story, "A Splash of Red," by Jen Bryant. On the canvas students drew something that was important to them and Twyla drew several things that are important to her!

Students created "Crayon Critters" after listening to the story, "Pete the Cat: Crayons Rock!" By Kimberly and James Dean. They painted using their favorite color and then added a face and arms and legs!
