Sumdog

Sumdog's educational games are used across Scotland and the world. Redwell have a subscription for sumdog which allows us to access games with questions that are stage appropriate for your child.

They will have been provided with login detail from their class teacher. Please get in touch if you need these.

To access on tablet and phones, you will need the free app. You can download this for android and iOS devices.

Flipgrid is a video discussion platform. The teacher would set and share a discussion topic and your child can respond via video. They can use filters and emojis to make the video their own!

This a resource for foreign languages. This has a interactive game based way of learning and allows the pupils to learn multiple languages in a fun and engaging way.

Learn computer science. Change the world.

Code.org is a platform for coding and computer science. Pupils will have log in details for this site and work through programmes of study using computational thinking, problem solving and coding skills to complete challenges in a games based environment.

Children have logon details for this site and are able to work through the programme of study at their own pace.

Nessy has been making fun, educational software for children since 1999 and has developed a reputation for exceptional quality. Nessy offers the complete dyslexia aware solution with a suite of multisensory products aimed at making learning to read, write and spell fun.

Some children in school use Nessy to support their learning. Your child will have been given logon details, if they access it as part of their learning.
