CTE Dual Credit
FORMERLY KNOWN AS "TECH PREP"
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dual Credit courses allow students to earn both high school and college credit by completing college level CTE courses. These courses are articulated and approved as part of local college certificate and degree programs, and are offered at each high school campus as part of a student's regular class schedule. There is no cost to students, so students and families get a jump-start on college by earning a college transcript while saving a significant amount of money.
CTE Dual Credit/Tech Prep
CTE Dual Credit/Tech Prep courses are available to all 9th-12th grade students and are offered at all of our high schools. These courses articulate directly with local college Professional and Technical certificate and degree programs and teach college level curriculum. Students obtain college credit by registering for CTE Dual Credit and earning a grade of "B" or higher in the course.
