RoCK has a need for mechanical application in several aspects.  Structural understanding with interactions in different types of mechanisms is a vital part of robotic operations.  Pneumatics (air systems) can also be explored - having a contained fluid system under pressurization can be a great method of control.

POSSIBLE OBJECTIVES:

• Learning pressurized self-contained systems for control applications

• Exploration of gearing and how different forces can be applied for operations

• Mathematical evaluation and developing formulation as it works with physics and other material sciences

• Shop safety and operation of equipment
