I am so excited to meet you all this school year! To tell you a little about myself, this is my 13th year teaching; I have taught 3rd grade, 5th grade, and 4th grade. This is my seventh year teaching 4th grade in Carl Junction. I went to school in Webb City growing up, then attended Southwest Baptist University and attained my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Sociology.
I am married to my husband of 14 years, we have 2 boys; Ellis and Beau, and two dogs Wendy and Bluey. We enjoy hiking, watching movies, playing outside, and spending time making things together. In my free time (not that there is much), I love sewing, making things, playing with my boys, and reading.
I can't wait for this year, and to meet you all! It's going to be a great year! We are going to learn a lot, enjoy getting to know each other, and have a bunch of fun!
My Favorites:
Candy: dark chocolate, M & M's (of any kind), Sour Patch Kids
Drink: coffee, Dr. Pepper, flavored water
Hobbies: watching movies, reading, sewing, hiking
Restaurant: Slim Chickens, Mi Torito, Chinese food
Hello, welcome to 4th grade! I am very excited to get this year started. My name is Lindsey Mitchell and this will be my fifth year teaching!
I graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Currently I am pursuing a reading specialist certification! I went to school at Carl Junction and I am excited to be back in the district I grew up in. Some fun facts about me are that I am the Carl Junction High School cheer coach. I cheered all four years in college at MSSU.
I am recently married to my husband Wyatt, and we have an English Bulldog named Blu that we absolutely adore. In my free time I enjoy shopping, traveling, walking my dog, working out, and hanging with my family. Some of my favorite things are Chick-fil-A, Target, Starbucks coffee, Root Beer, and Mexican food.
I can't wait to meet everyone this school year. It's going to be filled with lots of fun and learning!
